Perimeter Protection designs and implements city-shield video solutions that integrate disparate business-owned and city-owned cameras into a single system to help reduce or mitigate the impact of crimes in progress and quickly provide evidence for criminal investigation.

One example is a City-Shield System implemented in Southern California. In one year, cameras captured 9071 videos of potential crimes in progress. Using AI and video analytics filtering 24x7 live footage, these active videos were reviewed near real-time to determine the next engagement step. Of those videos, 31 required PD dispatches, while the other were either non-issues or resolved via Voice-Down communication to the camera's site. In addition, the city-shield system was used to support 28 investigations consisting of attempted murder, arson, suspicious death, vandalism, graffiti, gang-related incidents, traffic accidents, and robbery/burglaries.

A Southern California based water district wanted to further harden their critical infrastructure. Perimeter Protection designed a solution that integrated their existing video system with enhanced video analytics, artificial intelligence, and remote guard monitoring. With that intelligence in place, Perimeter Protection monitors their critical infrastructure for trespassing, vandalism, or terrorism. The solution was designed and implemented within a month's timeframe at a fraction of the cost of changing out their existing cameras. Perimeter Protection installed a stealth camera solution to assist in a park's two week long vandalism spree. The security solution took 3 minutes to discreetly install and solved the crime in just SIX hours. The vandals triggered the cameras, and after the situation was quickly assessed, PD was dispatched, and the vandals were caught in the act.

Stealth camera solutions have several versatile applications. Due to its ease in implementation, these are often used by PD and investigators for surveillance projects. The core feature of these systems is that they are battery-powered, connected to a cellular network, and monitored by the central station. Perimeter Protection designs and implements video solutions to protect critical infrastructure. These solutions include remote video monitoring and use video analytics and artificial intelligence to provide real-time filtering of videos that meet the thresholds for remote guard engagement. Based on the threat, the remote guards follow dispatch protocol, including voice/down to the location and contacting site security or local police. During the dispatch, the remote guard can communicate the rapidly changing status of events, providing intelligence to first responders to help them engage as necessary.
